If your car does not come with fiber optic cables to amplifier, the installation is easy and you don't need to modify wires. However, for BMW E90/E91/E92/E93 with fiber optical amplifier in the trunk(you can ask your local BMW dealer to confirm this information), you need to modify wires for installation, so the installation is a little complicated, we have a solution for this car but you should modify wires, you can connect our speakers wires directly to your speakers wires in the boot, as our speaker wires are a little short, you need to extend it to connect our speaker wires(8 wires). Please don't worry about the amplifier, as our unit has amplifier built-in.You can also buy another amplifier to connect with this unit.
