Note: For BMW X5 with factory navigation system or there's a large screen in the dashboard, we need to send you a 6m long power cable(it's free, either 17pins or 40pins) to connect car speakers in the boot, there's amplifier built-in this bmw x5 gps unit, so I'm afraid your original amplifier will not work anymore after connecting our 6m long cable which is plugged directly to car speakers. You can unplug your amplifier from speakers in the trunk so that you can see if it's 17pins connectors or 40 pins connectors or send us a picture for us to check for you, thanks. You just need to find the radio tuner in the trunk, and the radio tuner is located under the tire next to the battery, then you can unplug it and see the power connectors.

Hi. What is the difference between this audio system for cars with DSP and without? It is able to connect this unit to the car with DSP system or not? My x5 is 2002 year build, with cd changer in boot plus bmw navi and dsp amplifier system. Thanks.
